At Woodlawn, we want to see lives changed for Christ so that everyone reflects the image of God and the church truly represents the Kingdom of God. We strive to be a place of fully devoted disciples, each using their gifts to influence others (both inside and outside the church) to grow closer to Christ through relational discipleship. If you want to find out more about us, read the following summaries and explore any areas of interest using the sidebar links on the left.
We offer three worship services every Sunday: a traditional service at 9:30 am, a contemporary service at 10:45 am, and a Hispanic service at 4 pm. Check out the Sunday Worship links in the sidebar to find out more.
Our small groups function not only as a source of Bible education, but as a source of fellowship and community. They are an ideal place for relational discipleship, with priority given to loving, learning, living and leading. Small groups include Sunday morning Sunday school classes, Sunday evening classes, and Life Groups, which meet throughout the week and in homes or at the church. They are often tailored to specific ages (e.g., children, youth, and senior adults), sexes (e.g., Ladies Night Out, ), and/or ministries (e.g., prayer groups, Thursday Crew for building maintenance, ...). Use the sidebar links to explore many of the opportunities available.
We make an intentional effort to minister to the community around the church. For example, classes to help international students improve their English are held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings at the church, and on Friday mornings at Montgomery Village.
